A “non-Western” passport doesn’t necessarily shield you from global financial systems (CRS, banking compliance, sanctions regimes). Mobility, stability, and consular protection can be significantly weaker depending on the country.

Sure, but again in practice, a state like Switzerland or Germany / the US is a giant organization. Before they send you a letter, your money is already gone and while you’re abroad, they can’t do anything in most cases.
My 2nd passport has decent mobility, Switzerland is top notch too ofc, but as for consular services… I personally don’t care about that as much as I do about freedom.

That’s fallacious, no one pretended to know the future and it is the whole point of risk management theory.
Assuming or pretending that an event will never happen, on the other hand, would be a very spicy strategy ![]()
