UBS key4 - all in One, but any good?

I’m still on UBS me as I anyway pay for the (key4) credit card. I don’t know whether a switch from UBS me to UBS key4 is even possible. When they introduced it, it was only for new customers, if I remember correctly. However, you should find most of the details in their full “Services and prices” PDF.

They are possible, of course, but not free. SEPA is CHF 0.30 (unless you have UBS key4 FX). SWIFT payments are more expensive, as usual. And currency exchange has a high markup, of course (1.7% for EUR and USD, unless you have UBS key4 FX).

The maximum credit balance limit is currently CHF 100,000. Amounts in excess
of this must be held in another account. Changes to the maximum credit balance
will be notifed by UBS. Only one UBS Sustainable Savings Account per client may
be opened.

You can still have any number of regular savings accounts if you want to hold more than CHF 100k.

Ahh I see
I didn’t know there is difference between sustainable savings and regular savings account.
So much marketing these days

Any idea if this 1.7% markup is same for UBS ME & UBS KEY4 pure

I have sent them a message. I will update regarding what they say.

I asked them if there is any practical difference between the two packages if I don’t need credit card

Yes, if you don’t get a UBS key4 FX option, the usual markup is applied.

² Major currencies are AUD, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NOK, NZD, SEK, SGD, USD (ISO code).

The above is from ubs.com/finsa “Prices for custody account, transactions and other services.”

Note that these key4 FX options seem to apply only to outgoing payments, not to card payments or currency conversion for trading (key4 prepaid/credit cards already only have a 0.5% markup on top of the Mastercard rate, but the debit cards still have the 1.7% markup).
