Ok, then you got some feedback that the disclaimer doesn’t seem to work to make it not sound right wing to me.
My intention was not to make it sound right wing (or not right wing for that matter), but to emphasize the culutral and especially financial aftermath of current western demographic trends. This forum is not political and I wanted to point to policies, not politics, but used too many words I guess. As we are in Switzerland, I try to respect different views and opinions - right, left, up, down or center.
(sidenote: there’s specific very loaded terms – replacement is one of them – that easily lead to misunderstanding)
Fwiw the phenomenon is not restricted to developed world, it’s a global change.

Trying to guilt people over it definitely won’t help tho 
(and unless you really identify the root causes properly, policy changes might also not lead to any change).

The discussion that developed in this thread is surely loaded, but people managed to stay within acceptable limits (from my point of view). I think I am reading the same materials as others and have some thoughts on the topic, but I don’t want to comment, as it would be inappropriate for me. I am also cycling some sci-fi-level scenarios related to this issue.
Just a provocative thought from me and a message to all high-achievers and intellectual geniuses: don’t let your genes get wasted! Especially if you have no children and no partner! Visit another type of bank and donate your sperm/ovaries. Seriously! They might be needed sooner than we think.
