This YTD has seen me save less than I wanted to for various personal reasons, yet my capita gains have exceeded the saving of years that were pedal to the metal. Puts a perspective on things and makes me wonder if easing the gas has a better cost-benefit ratio than saving and living with restrictions. Had a luxurious (= stress-free in terms of spending) family holiday which I see as an investment in and of itself, partly covered by dividends
