This is fortunately not the case with the spot ETFs. But sure, maybe on exchanges or other derivatives could not be backed.
IBIT is backed and can be tracked publicly. Gold cant ![]()

)
Thanks.

⊠buy some⊠just in case!
Sell on good news?
I take it with Saylor: Buy forever, never sellâŠ
The bitcoins can be audited by having them make a cryptographic signature to prove they can control the coins.
What a nothingburger.
âNo active buying means this is just a fancy title for Bitcoin holdings that already existed with the Govt. This is a pig in lipstick.â
âTrump will never acknowledge BTCâ
âHe wonât show at Bitcoin 2025â
âHe wonât announce an SBRâ
âHe wonât actually Free Rossâ
âThe SBR wonât be BTC but âUSA based cryptoâ â
âThey wonât buy any new BTC for the SBRâ
you are here
Keep fading.

I tend to agree with your view.
Keeping all 200k btc is a good first step to establish the infrastructure, knowledge and processes within the goverment.
Also there is not too much resistance since no public money needs to be spend.
These things take timeâŠwhich is a good opportunity to accumulate ![]()
At least nothing negative⊠compared to 2 to 4 yrs ago the tone about bitcoin has changed.
Further:
But:
⊠the game theory has not kicked in yet (or maybe just slightly).
Anyway, Iâm here for the long runâŠ
I suspect China will be against and eventually ban it. They already kicked out the miners once. I suspect they donât want to waste energy on this and also maybe down the line they might see bitcoin as a threat to their control (and a way of smuggling capital out of China).
Why is BTC not exploding?
Iâm just waiting to load IBIT and BITX/BITU ![]()
It waits for my (above avarage) bonus end of march ![]()
Now now Mr mod, is this related to investments? I read âcroniesâ, âregimeâ, âcorruptionâ, âinsider tradingâ and other negative words but not many or any substantive points. Doesnât mean I donât 100% agree with it.
Sure, this is about Bitcoin and crypto, which is an investment. If a company top people are involved in insider trading or its fundamentals are shit, it doesnât mean we are not allowed to discuss it.
Ok, Iâll bow out from this thread.
