Open Swiss Bank account as Swiss abroad

I recently moved to the UK for a few years and just found out that PF charges 25CHF a month to maintain my account! Do you know any alternatives that offer better value that I could transfer my CHF assets to?

Revolut is one I can think of.

Revolut doesn’t have Swiss bank account under investor‘s name. They have account under their name

Try Alpian / Swissquote

Thank you for the recommendation I will look into them.

If I just want a bank account in CHF who would you recommend?

Postfinance, actually. I don’t think there are many banks in Switzerland opening accounts for non-residents.

Or you indeed go for a broker bank.

But maybe you also describe first what do you want to achieve?

Did you already check https://www.moneyland.ch/en/swiss-bank-fees-abroad (and looks like they have a full comparison available on request).

I think Swissquote is good enough as they might allow account for non-residents

But I don’t know if it would be free as residential account

I would think that many banks in the UK offer a CHF account. I imagine you are looking for a Swiss bank account in CHF for whatever reason?

Exactly.

Thank you all for your responses and input. I really appreciate it. I’ll find what I need.

Essentially, I don’t want to move my money in Switzerland across borders if I don’t have to, as I will be returning in a few years.
