If that also means the EX-US one will launch, I’m happy

Hopefully Invesco will now lower FWRA’s fees as well, as Vanguard’s is now 1bp cheaper.

If anything, this just shows that chaising the TER probably isn’t worth the headache (on a personal level).

I am very thankful people are doing it though, as that likely causes this preasure.

In the US - fidelity funds have 0.0% TER and trading fees, imho we should be aiming to get there as well.

Usually security lending. I think they can get over 10bps revenue through that.

(With many US passive ETFs having \<0.10% TER it makes sense that at some point you might as well set it to 0 and get a small marketing boost).

At Vanguard, [as far as I understand](https://investor.vanguard.com/investor-resources-education/article/understanding-securities-lending), the securities lending profits benefit ETF investors. If free ETFs don’t do that, then Vanguard might actually be cheaper even with fees?

Or you go with Amundi Prime, they have 0.07% TER & securities lending & they’re european 🙂

By managing 401K for lot of people.
I believe for them these zero TER funds are advertising budget.

Vanguard is obviously reaping benefits of being the pioneer and lot of people love nostalgia. Amundi WEBG will take some time to get there.

I use Amundi and UBS Core funds for most of my investments now. Cheap and supports local finance Bros

Amundi also has an undisclosed ESG tilt (they don’t invest in highly controversial stocks, despite claiming to be a passive index fund).

Imho this is borderline fraud, but do with that info as you please. It’s also not really mentioned prominently - you gotta pay attention to a 8pt font in one of their prospects…

Just to be sure Amundi doesn’t invest in stocks that are part of its underlying index ? Or the index doesn’t include those specific stocks either ?

It’s the fund, as I understand it. Amundi is deviating from the index.

According to the prospectus supplement dated 29 July 2026, the OCF is 0.07% (unhedged) and 0.10% (hedged) for Vanguard FTSE Global All-Cap UCITS ETF.

If these fees are confirmed at launch, this fund becomes very attractive. 🤩

PS: happy 1st August 🎆🇨🇭
