You can keep 100+k CHF in a sock under your pillow if you are not afraid it can be stolen. Nobody would bother you as long as it is correctly declared in your tax declaration.

Meanwhile some banks already don’t apply negative interest rate anymore I heard. I would say 99% chance that negative interest rate on CHF will be history by the end of this year.

Next step would be interest rates on the rise on e.g. savings account.

I don’t expect to see that anytime soon, though.
