Mintos funds in recovery: how to fill in tax declaration

Hi there
I’m probably not the only one on this forum to have invested with Mintos. After the corona shock in 2020 I started to withdraw all available funds from Mintos. So far so good.
Now, there are still around € 2,500 in recovery on my Mintos account (probably gone for good). This is bad enough, but I do not feel inclined to even pay wealth tax on these “virtual” assets.
Has anyone checked with Swiss tax authorities how to handle such “funds in recovery”?

Same here, still have 1.3k EUR in recovery. Technically they’re still your asset. Last year I’ve reported the account balance at end of year as wealth. Was accepted.

Received some payments from Mintos throughout 2022, but I have still € 2,300 in recovery…

I wondered if the tax authority would allow me to omit this (probably lost) balance from my tax declaration. It’s clear that they do not object if you include it.

That’s sounds like a bad debt , I would not include the asset in my tax return.
