You got a better offer. Let it be known.
If really unhappy about your present situation, I’d consider the new post. It might also trigger some négociations with your present company… if they’re happy with you.
Careful there: you seem to have of a very high opinion of yourself. It might not be the case for your colleagues and supervisors. As in glad to see him go, go, go.
NB. If you’re Indian or Tamil, it’s a very common trait of character (“I’m a Bramhani, I am worth more”) and this type of behaviour is really disliked here. Sorry if this offended you.
