Yes, the progression of shares prices or stock index has nothing to do with the progression of the real economy. But to my opinion the finance already managed to adapt itself to a world without growth and this trick is called shares buy back. It allows to add 2-3 % growth to the dividend or and to the shares price without having a real growth in the business.
