Please help this person who knows nothing about ice hockey or stadiums 😅
I will watch a game in Lausanne, what seated place will offer the best value as in experience to price ratio?
The aim is to spend a pleasant evening.

Not an expert as I have only been there once, but:
- ultras are on the right (darkened) side if I am not mistaken; either you’ll want to get close for more “ambiance”, or move away otherwise, they’ll sing/shout pretty much the whole game
- it’s small enough that you have a decent view from everywhere, even the corners (not sure about the upper section though)
- concessions/access are below the “red line”, I don’t think there are some in the upper section
If I am not mistaken, I was on the upper-end (close to the gallery) of the first floor of the bottom-left side in your map, and it was good.
Generally, the more central the better, but I don’t know about the difference in price. Height is a trade-off between slightly closer, and slightly better “long-range” view. It’s not tall enough to make a massive difference.

Watching the match on TV is always an option 😀.
More seriously, if hockey is like football, corner seats offer good value for money, being cheaper than those with a central view.
In general, the higher you go in the stands, the cheaper the seats, except for those at the bottom, which offer a limited overall view. The most expensive seats are usually in the second tier, closest to the ice.
I recommend the first or third tier, with the third being practical for quick access to exits during breaks.
