Yes that is a requirement I would have. Also lessons (or simply court rental) after 7pm like until 9pm for adults
For me it looks like a really low risk-low work business. A bit of admin, everything is established and probably working well (otherwise it would not have worked for 15y). You just need to get the money and redistribute it among yourself and the freelancers, a bit of relational to keep everyone happy and thats it.
Just get a bit in the background (balance sheets, Erfolgsrechnungen, what kind of contracts) and it looks pretty safe if the price is great.
â the buyout would be for the relationships
Exactly I am hoping a lot of it can be automated with technology (scheduling, court reservations, etc.) and a good part time operator and this could generate some nice passive income⊠It all hinges on the school facilities and their appetite to continue this model. Planning a conversation with the current tennis school owner and the school. The cherry on the cake is I play tennis so I could get free court reservations
the current tennis school owner drives a nice Maserati so he must be doing well
It looks good, but donât overlook the relationship elements. If you want to do this, Iâd suggest working with the guy who wants to retire to shadow him and then gradually take over.
Have him handhold you through the process and introduce you to the different stakeholders.
Lease over the courts is the key. When does it expire? If you agree that he renews the lease prior to buying as a condition of the sale, then you can guarantee this.
Best advise.
the shadowing is a good idea. thank you
I also found out some pricing elements and it looks high margin.. wonât know definitively until the courts lease is known - thanks to everyone and I hope i have not derailed this thread too much
It might be the other way round: the guy has sold his online casino 20y ago and now the tennis school bores him.
