I did not know that. In that case it makes a lot more sense, I was not even aware that the requirements for lightning were already known.
They’re much further along than you think, you can even test the Lightning Network right now!

It’s not the worst idea that’s for sure, always better than the exchanges. I know there were a few cases of hardware wallet hackings but, I think they are overall good enough.
