Thatâs not really a proper account, more like a Postfinance-internal allocated place. Afaik from there you can only internally transfer to your Postfinance private accounts, nowhere else.
So Ja, I assume you need to shift it to a Postfinance USD private account, before you can transfer/wire it.
Update: I transfered $9000 out of Postfinance to IB. I donât know where what costs occured, if itâs percentage, flat rate or whatever else they might come up with. Anyways, I received $8986 in IB. So a lot cheaper than doing the conversion in Postfinance.
FWIW, wire costs are typically a flat fee.
⊠that matches my experiences: Itâs around 14$ on a 10k wire (and there is going to be a ~2.2$ charge from PF (2CHF equivalent), usually at the end of the month)
