European World ex-US ETFs

I wanted to compare the performance of the 3 MSCI work ex-US to see the impact of the fees variation but I can find none

The current capitalisation of AWEX is promising but there is not enough history to make conclusion.
It is also not referenced by ICTax yet.

I am really tempted to move away from VT to pick this one and VTI. Sensible allocation could be 40/60 to make things easier.
I understand it should improve dividend withholding tax of non us etf.
The other advantage I see will be to unlock 40% of the investment away of the US estate tax paperwork hassle from my heirs.

This may give somme relief, in the sense that 40% of the wealth should be available sooner. But honestly it doesn’t remove much hassle since all of the paperwork still needs to be done for the remaining 60%

Personally I sold and now exclude US-domiciled funds; it is not the ultimately optimal tax solution while I’m alive, but I accept this inefficiency in favor of simplicity :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

For dumb US index ETF it should be possible to use Finpension’s method to get tranparent tax credit from IE domiciled ETF. With this there will be no tax advantage of US domiciled ETFs.
