As promised, this is my update: Initiated the transfer 29.11.2025, handing in the original document signed first week of December resulted in the transfer being finalised today, 21.01.2026.
One could almost call it eficient

Update from me. I opened an account on Saxo in the middle of Jan and then set up a transfer of my largest position from Corner to Saxo. I think the transfer took roughly 2-3 weeks and there were no problems. It maybe would have went quicker, but it took me a few days to print and send the form to Corner. Anyway now itâs done and Iâm pleased with Saxo so far. I opened the account with MPâs link, which means I got a trading credit, so thanks for that!
Iâve decided to leave my smaller postions with Corner, at least for the foreseeable future, as I wanted to diversify across two brokers anyway. But at least Iâll be paying less custody fees than if Iâd left all postions there.

What is your experience with account closure? How long did it take?
I received confirmation of my request for closing my account on April 8th. All positions have already been transferred in January.
I prefer not paying fees for an additional quarter end of June.
