Interesting, didn’t know this shop, thanks!
There was a link at amazon.com where you could report cheaper prices. Did that.
And no, I could not find a decent AI to compare the bikes I may want to see. This table I made manually from Amazon and even there some information is missing…
Buy a standard bile and irder something like the bafang kit and let your friend install it. If he is handy and a bit used to bikes it is done within 2-3 hours.
(In this kit can set VMax yourself and install thumb throttle).
Thanks for the tip. But with those cheap prices I think I will go with a complete bike. The only thing I would like in addition is a belt drive, those are more expensive and it is harder to find one with my specifications.
BTW: the “standard bike” of my friend was around 10k Euros and he wants to replace it with one for 20k. He does some racing in Spain but gets too old for sponsors…
I’ll check again in March cause I think I will not be in Spain until April. And of course I want to ride the bike then, so I’ll have it prepared.
The K2 looks nice, 40 km/h with big battery and 80 NM torque, a full electric mode and suspension. The others I think are limited to 25 km/h, which would be OK too and saves battery. Apparently they all are illegal in Spain anyhow, but nobody cares.
At the end I bought the MX6, will stay in my basement in Spain until April. But they have a nice offer this month.
1000W motor (they even have one with 2 1000W motors but the same battery). Got it 700 Euros cheaper from China.
It will be hard for them to sell those in Europe illegal bicycles once they cannot export them to the USA any longer due to some stupid tolls.
1’000 Euros is OK, if it gets stolen I can buy 6 more for the price of my KTM. As it is illegal in whole Europe I probably have to add 500 for fines. Just kidding, at the moment in Spain nobody cares. But that may change. It is more like a motorcycle, the ideal replacement for taxis some times.
To that offer one can add a coupon and gets another 200 Euros off:
