Bonjour,

That’s a great idea!

These are the functionalities that matter to me:

- All the products, worldwide. Not just some arbitrary set of funds stocks and ETFs. If even just one product is missing in an app, it makes it useless. getquin is an example of the rare apps that has everything (with just some missing price history for a few Swiss bonds). I think a good market data provider is Lang & Schwarz.
- Automatic dividends, splits, spinoffs, so users don’t have to enter them manually. Only buys and sells.
- Simple to use with simple csv import possible and nothing else needed to have a basic working portfolio. Unless the app comes from a very reputable bank with a license, I don’t want to connect it to my bank or broker (I don’t feel comfortable with this) or to import transaction receipts that have personal data on them.
- Strong authentication with two factors, not just a password.
- Access possible through a browser so I can see it on a big screen, subscription through a phone app possible.

I don’t know any apps that has all these together. If one day there is one, and it looks fancy, then I’ll probably do the switch. And I will consider paying for it. 😊

That’s a good. I took it into account. I think I will implement it in a v2 or v3 version.

Hi everyone !

Long time since my last post but I finally got something useable. @ProvidentRetriever not as completed as you wish but I’m working on it, you really had good advice.
You can now register on app.alpgain.ch/#/closed-alpha and directly register.
Currently it’s a V0.1 so it’s **free**.
All of your datas are safe protected and impossible for any admin to see it. Here I explain how I protect all datas: [Sécurité des données financières : comment Alpgain protège votre patrimoine](https://alpgain.ch/blog/securite-donnees-alpgain.html)

If you found some bug or you had some advice, feel free to answer !

MERCI !
Justin.

Thanks Justin! I like the design. Very promising.

I tried it now. Two things I noticed:

- I cannot set the language to English, it always comes back to French one second after pressing “EN”.
- When trying to import a CSV and mapping, the options to map are limited (date, description, amount, debit, credit). Shouldn’t there be mappings for the ISIN, for the quantity, the unit price, the currency, and the type (Buy/Sell)? Ticker is less reliable because it depends on the exchange and many products like index funds and Swiss bonds don’t have any ticker.

First of all, Thanks for your time and the test you achieve !!
I just fixed the language selection issue.

To improve the CSV import is in the pipeline, and I’m working hard on it 😃
your point about ticker is totally right ! I will implement the selection of asset by ticker or by isin.

It’s hard work, working alone on this type of project starting to be big.

I really really appreciate your feedback and it’s so important for me !!!

Thanks also for listening to the feedback! 🙂 I appreciate it too and can’t wait to continue to test and give more feedback.

I tried with some simulated data and it looks very promising! The UI looks very nice. One issue I had is the import is only partially working, with a lot of internal server errors and many transactions ignored.
