I’m not born in Canada but I have the citizenship. I moved to CH part way through the fiscal year and now I have the immense pleasure of dealing with filing my taxes there along with paying the departure tax on my investments.
I’d like to hire a CPA to do it all because the usual tax software packages don’t know how to deal with this case properly.
I’m looking for Canadians who also emigrated and had to use such a CPA. Do you have any recommendations for competent tax preparation offices? I emigrated from ON but I guess the province the CPA is in doesn’t matter.
